Are we good enough?

Romans 8:33-34 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself.  Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

God is a perfect deity who created imperfect people and called His creation good.  Even so, sin entered in and man became separated from God, but God, in His great mercy, provided a way for us to be reconciled to Him.  Some people think that because they aren’t good enough for God, He will not save them.  They believe everyone else is worthy of salvation but them.  God gave His Son for us which means He won’t withhold the gift of salvation from anyone who seeks after Him, believing that Jesus is His Son and that He was crucified for our sins and buried with our transgressions and resurrected from the dead to offer us eternal life.  Christ gave His life for us and He isn’t going to turn around and condemn us.
