Grumbling destroys us

1 Corinthians 10:10  And don’t grumble as some of them did, and then were destroyed by the angel of death.

Paul warned the Believers in Corinth about grumbling and complaining.  We grumble when we focus our attention on what we don’t have.  The Israelites were so focused on what God wasn’t doing that they missed what He had done for them.   What occupies our attention?  Are we grateful for what God has given us–family, friends, a job, a house, food on the table, etc.–or are we too busy thinking about what we don’t have?  Our eyes should be focused on Jesus and what He has already given us–eternal life through His death on the cross.
