Are you surprised when God answers prayer?

Acts 12:14-15 When she recognized Peter’s voice, she was so overjoyed that, instead of opening the door, she ran back inside and told everyone, “Peter is standing at the door!”  “You’re out of your mind!” they said. When she insisted, they decided, “It must be his angel.”

The Believers were praying for Peter to be released from jail where he had been sent because of his faith in Christ and his preaching of the truth.  Their prayers were answered even as they were praying, but they didn’t believe it even though the answer came knocking on the door.  When we pray, we should believe God will answer.  When our answer arrives, we should be grateful, not surprised.
