Never underestimate the impossible

Isaiah 57:1-2 Good people pass away;
    the godly often die before their time.
    But no one seems to care or wonder why.
No one seems to understand
    that God is protecting them from the evil to come.
For those who follow godly paths
    will rest in peace when they die.

“There’s no such thing as hopeless if you believe…” is a line from a song performed by Joe Nichols entitled “The Impossible“.  The song highlights impossible things that happen (“unsinkable ships sink, unbendable steel bends” and even walking when the doctors say it’s impossible).  God proves to the world that He is God by doing the impossible–warriors set their captives free and return plunder they had taken–we become free from the bondage of addiction and sin, our debts are paid.  God freed the Israelites from Egypt and again when they returned to Israel from exile.

We should never doubt that God will fulfill His promises.  He will do the impossible to make them come true.
