Dare to Plug Into the Power Source (November 20, 2013)

2 Corinthians 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

We cannot be who God intended us to be or do what He wants us to do without the help of the Holy Spirit.  In order for the Holy Spirit to be active in our lives, we must ask for His help.  In John 15, we learn that are the branches and Jesus is the vine and we must stay connected to the vine in order to bear fruit.  We stay connected to Christ through prayer, God’s Word, fellowship with other believers and obedience.

“When I remain in Him, a very real anointing gives me power to live.  In this authentic encounter with God, I no longer need to rely on counterfeits and imposter power.  I can relax, remain in Him, and be renewed in Him.  In this place I can hardly wait to read His Word and just be with Him.”¹

Dare to get out of your comfort zone and do something you wouldn’t normally do. Experience God’s power in your life.

[Read Acts 8-14]

Acts 13:52 And the believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

Father God,
Live in me, work through me, have Your way in my life.  I desire to be blown away by Your power, presence and love today and every day.  Amen.
