Led to Receive the Freedom of Wholeness God Has For You (August 28, 2013)

2 Corinthians 3:17 For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

The Holy Spirit has the power to free us from the bondage of guilt and condemnation.  Satan would like nothing more than for us to believe his lies that we can never be good enough or worthy to be in God’s presence.  As long as we believe this lie, we will never experience the freedom that Christ delivered to us.

We can break free from Satan’s lies.  All we have to do is turn to God, pray and rely on the power of the Spirit in our life.  Christ has already set us free.  It is up to us to accept this freedom.

“Because the Holy Spirit of God is in you, it means you are never alone.  You are never hopeless. You are never powerless. Because He is in you and with you wherever you go, He is never distant… You can get free of anything that is not God’s will for your life.  If you have not gotten free of whatever binds you, keep seeking His presence.  It may be you haven’t gotten free yet, but you will.”¹

[Read Deuteronomy 15-21]

Deuteronomy 20:3-4 “He [the Priest] will say to them, ‘Listen to me, all you men of Israel! Do not be afraid as you go out to fight your enemies today!  Do not lose heart or panic or tremble before them.  For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory.”

Father God,
Thank You for leading me toward greater freedom and wholeness.  Liberate me from anything in my life that is not Your will for my life.  Enable me to stand strong so I don’t  fall back into bondage.  Fill me with Your love, peace and power today.  Holy Spirit, quiet my mind, speak to my heart and crowd out all of the stuff that is not of You. Amen.
